Childproofing Your Dog: A Complete Guide to Preparing Your Dog for the Children in Your Life, by Brian Kilcommons and Sarah Wilson

Master dog trainer and the author of Good Owners, Great Dogs, Brian Kilcommons and his co-author Sarah Wilson show you how to prepare your dog well in advance for the arrival of a new baby.  At 96-pages, with photographs throughout, this book is a comprehensive yet easy-to-read manual, and a resource to dip into again and again.

In addition to making your dog (even an older dog) “baby-ready,”  the book addresses how to:

  • Avoid common toddler/dog problems
  • Teach kids dog care and safety rules
  • Prevent jumping, snapping, barking, and aggressive behavior

By teaching your dog to accept predictable child/dog interactions before they happen, you can own a dog who is loving, loyal, trustworthy, and great with kids.
