Best in Show

Best in Show

Many of the movies recommended so far on thedogslife.com tend toward the “keep a box of tissues handy!” This movie, Best In Show, is laugh-out-loud funny.

Even if you thoroughly enjoy catching the annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, or any other elite dog show, you’ll get a kick out of this satirical look at a few obsessive dog-owners in the make-believe annual Mayflower Dog Show. Described in one movie review as “a freak parade of purebred pooches and their neurotic masters,” the talented cast and hilarious premise will have you laughing.

Rated as one of the best comedy movies released in 2000, the humor stands the test of time.
